Meet the Principals |
|
Ted Ritter has been a Project / Construction
Management consultant since 1982. He started out
providing CPM scheduling to builders and owners,
which naturally evolved into providing expert analysis of
delayed projects. In studying failed projects, Ted
developed a unique understanding of how procurement
of services, preparation and leveraging of contracts, and
establishment of formal relationships did not serve the
needs of specific projects. This became the foundation
of Ritter’s Healthcare Project Management Services: to
meet the Owner’s Best Interest through pointed, factual,
aggressive, open-book preparation and execution of a
comprehensive project plan, designed to prevent failure
by setting up all entities for success, and customized to
each specific Owner. Ted co-teaches a course for
the American College of Healthcare Executives titled
“Managing Healthcare Facility Design and Construction
Programs”, has a BS and MS in Construction
Management, and is a PMI Project Management
Professional.

Meet the Team |
Derrill Adair has thirty years’ experience in the
construction industry. Derrill’s years in the field as
superintendent and project manager give him good
insight into constructability issues as he acts as Owner’s
Rep on healthcare projects. Derrill’s strong suits are
communication, consensus building and problem solving.
Asked to stay on for remodeling of an existing facility
after a hospital expansion, he brings a solid
understanding of realistic cost estimating to the process. |
|
Bob Bremm is an Engineer by education (BEME) and
has worked in both Healthcare and Higher Education the
last twenty-five years. As Director of Facilities at four
institutions, he has been responsible for all facets of
planning, design, construction, maintenance, and
property management. Bob knows the challenges an
Owner faces, including internal challenges, in taking a
project from initial concept to integration into the
institution’s inventory. A successful project not only has
to come in on time and on budget but also needs to be
managed through the daily impact on operations and the
internal stress this can cause an Owner. Bob has
experience in GC/CM, design/build and other delivery
methods.
